Information about our hotel:
Our hotel Garni is situated directly at the sunny east shore of Lake Zell am See, as you can see. It offers a marvelous view of the Kitzsteinhorn, the Schmittenhöhe and the sorrounding mountain area of the national park Hohe Tauern. Where else do you have the lake directly beneath your balcony?
During the day our hotel is filled with life and activity from our guest but still gives you every opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday in dreamlike surroundings. All our rooms are equipped with telephone, television, batroom/toilet or shower/toilet. Both double rooms with a balconies facing the lake and double rooms facing the land without balconies are avaiable.

Thanks to being excellently positioned our hotel Garni can offer you a multitude of activities to do in the area. Both during summer and winter pletiful of unforgettable holiday-adventures await you.
In case of rainy weather we recommend a visit to the Tauern Spa Kaprun.
How to find us
By car from Germany:
Use the motorway München-Salzburg to the motorway-triangle “Inntal”, further to Kufstein, then via St. Johann and Saalfelden, another 3 km and before Zell am See do not use the tunnel but turn right towards Zell am See, after 300m turn left to Thumersbach. Along the lake (Thumersbacherstraße) through the centre of Thumersbach until you reach our Hotel Garni Seestrand.
By car from Vienna:
If you don`t want to travel via the “German Corner” you can also use the motorway “Tauernautobahn”, exit at Bischofshofen and use the road towards Zell am See. About 1 km after Bruck/Glstr. (before you reach Zell am See) turn right to Thumersbach. After about 3 km of following the road along the lake, Hotel Garni Seestrand will be at your left hand side.
